At the end of Key Stage 1 (Year 2) and Key Stage 2 (Year 6) there are national Standard Assessment Tests (SATs). These are:
· Key Stage 1 Literacy and Numeracy
· Key Stage 2 Literacy, Numeracy and Science
Individual SATs results are explained to parents during the parent/teacher consultation meeting in the summer term.
The tables below show the school SATs results for the end of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 for 2004. The tables also show National average figures for results for 2004.
Key Stage 1 results are excellent this year and overall we have achieved well above national averages. The Key Stage 2 results reflect good progress towards ambitious targets. Most notable are the high percentage of children achieving Levels 4 (84%) and 5 (9%) in ICT before transferring to secondary school.
